Dr. Ned Saleh

Dr. Ned Saleh is a multidisciplinary scientist and entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. Dr. Saleh he has over 20 years of professional experience during which he held senior technical staff and research positions at Apple, Intel, IBM, KLA, Applied Materials and previously in academia at Berkeley lab and the University of Michigan, where he earned his doctoral degree in Nuclear Engineering at the  #1 ranking national doctoral program.

Dr. Saleh founded Plasmotica in 2016 and later Synsal, both of which were seed funded at $4M to develop intellectual property portfolio in the micro-plasma and compact portable technology for quantified wellness in the mass market with a back-end decentralized data monetization model based on the Blockchain technology. In his earlier academic career, Dr. Saleh worked under Prof. Gerard Mourou at the University of Michigan developing laser-based technology that lead to Guinness Book citation for the highest focused laser intensity ever, which in part lead to the 2018 Physics Nobel prize granted to his doctoral thesis advisor Prof. Gerard Mourou.

Dr. Saleh was featured on Bloomberg & YahooFinance for the breakthrough technology he developed at the onset of the  COVID-19 pandemic early in 2020, and continues to develop preventive technology towards future pandemics. He is also listed as a co-inventor on 15 US patents/applications and over 30 technical publications.
